The ABMA academy is focused on the colloquial term for education with a primary focus on the visual arts, illustration, painting, and sculpture. Introducing art to children has a number of benefits ranging from improving creativity to increasing self-confidence. Art will help develop a child’s creativity, imagination, cognitive skills, and much more. Children who regularly participate in a comprehensive art program are four times more likely to be in a math or science fair, and four times more likely to win an award for writing, according to research published by Canadians for the Arts.
Tatiana Shekhtman is a graduate of Humber College – Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in Arts. Tatiana is an exceptionally talented art teacher with a background in teaching students the practical skills, theory, and history of art. Her experience is primarily based on painting and drawing. She is very enthusiastic, patient and tact, with great communication skills, and a profound level of creative and organizational skills.
